Chief Detective Mike Burgess of the West Point Police Department said Wednesday the department has no new suspects and continues “working on some leads.”
WPPD is looking for a black male approximately 6 feet tall, slender and in his 40s with a black and gray goatee. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black or brown hooded jacket with sunglasses. He carried a large-caliber semi-automatic pistol.
The suspect fled the store with the cash drawer. The empty drawer was later found on Highway 45 Alternate.
