The Columbus Arts Council is accepting registrations for summer arts camp. Classes begin June 7, with each session running for one week.
Each week has a unique theme and class schedule, which will develop each child”s creativity in a fun and stimulating environment. The camp is open to ages 5 through 13.
Professional artists, educators and those who love the arts will take part in teaching a wide variety of classes that explore creativity and are full of thinking, making, seeing and doing.
Camp hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Weekly sessions are offered, or children can attend the morning or afternoon portions of the camp. Catered lunches from Zachary”s and extended care are also available for an additional fee.
Camp projects and teachers change each week, so students may enroll in more than one session. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis upon receipt of payment, so early registration is encouraged.
The Rosenzweig Arts Center is located at 501 Main St. in downtown Columbus. Contact the CAC for more information, or register by calling 328-ARTS (2787), or email [email protected].
