American rock band X Ambassadors will perform Friday, Feb. 22, at Mississippi State during an 8 p.m. concert presented by the university’s Music Maker Productions.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for the event, which takes place at the Mississippi Horse Park, 869 East Poor House Road, Starkville.
General admission tickets for $25 are available at msuconcerts.com or in person at the Center for Student Activities office in Colvard Student Union’s Suite 314. A limited number of $20 discounted tickets for MSU students with valid MSU student identification have been made available at the center.
With the 2015 release of a debut full-length album “VHS,” Brooklyn, New York-based X Ambassadors has generated immense interest within the music community. The album spawned the group’s platinum single “Renegades” and double-platinum single “Unsteady.” “Renegades” was nominated for “Top Rock Song” at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, and “Unsteady” received the same nomination in 2017. X Ambassadors has conducted large-scale tours in North America and Europe. The band’s highly anticipated sophomore album is set for release soon. For more, see xambassadors.com.
