Starkville police are searching for a man wanted for his role in a stabbing Sunday afternoon outside Mac”s Meat Market.
Police arrested a woman, Kenisha Reed, 33, of 1507 Louisville St., shortly after the incident and charged her with aggravated assault. A man wanted on an aggravated assault warrant was still at large as of this morning, Starkville Police Department Sgt. Chadd Garnett said.
The Starkville Police Department now wants the public”s help to locate Alan “Main” Doss, 36, of 2010 Rockhill Road, who is considered armed and dangerous.
Police were notified of fight in progress at Mac”s Meat Market at 209 Martin Luther King Junior Drive, Sunday at 2:22 p.m.
When officers arrived, they discovered a man who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was treated for his injuries at OCH Regional Medical Center and released, Garnett said.
The victim and witnesses were able to identify Reed and Doss as the victim”s attackers. Reed was arrested at her apartment about 3:15 p.m. Sunday and police believe Doss had left Reed”s apartment minutes prior to their arrival.
