Come on, Columbus residents, and help make your city shine!

Link''d Young Professionals is teaming up with area businesses and organizations to clean up the city, before welcoming thousands of visitors for the 69th annual Columbus Pilgrimage, and they need help.

Volunteers from every community are needed March 28 to walk through city neighborhoods, picking up litter, leaves, limbs and debris.

Clean Sweep Columbus begins with volunteers gathering at 9 a.m. March 28 at the Farmers'' Market in downtown Columbus.

All volunteers working with a specific organization are not required to be present at the Farmers'' Market launch, but a team leader from the group must be present to receive the necessary supplies for cleaning.

Additionally, all youth group participants must be accompanied by an adult.
