The comments of Mark Killebrew in Tuesday”s paper is a cheap shot. At one time he was on the committee for Roast n” Boast, but he is no longer a part.
I will be the first to congratulate the team that put on the Grilling on the River. It was a success and a great event for our city.
Money should not be an issue for any event. Harvey (Myrick) donates part of his proceeds to the Humane Society, and we donate our proceeds to Camp Rising Sun.
Mr. Killebrew is being a divisive force when both events should be for the good of all of our citizens. If Mark has suggestions to help us, we would welcome him to attend one of our meetings anytime. And, we will not charge him to get in.
