Police are searching for a suspect in the rapes of two women at an apartment in Tuscaloosa. One of the women was killed.
The man is described as more than 6 feet tall and muscular, weighing between 230 and 240 pounds and is believed to be about 31 years old.
Neighbors identify the dead woman as Angela Quick. Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit commander Capt. Loyd Baker says she had been dating the suspect for about two weeks. Baker says it”s unclear how she died.
The surviving victim says she awoke early Tuesday when the man was sexually assaulting her. She says she ran downstairs after he left and found Quick unresponsive on a couch.
