Columbus Police Department makes robbery arrests

Columbus Police Department investigators have arrested two suspects in the Nov. 30 armed robbery of the 45 Express Mart, located at 2203 Highway 45 North. 

 


n At 12:30 p.m. Friday, investigators arrested Nathan Harrison, 18, of 117 Crepe Myrtle Drive in Columbus, and charged him with one count of armed robbery. 

 


n On Jan. 23, investigators arrested Yotyler Miller, 18, of 3305 Wysteria Drive in Columbus, and charged him with one count of armed robbery. 

 


No bond or preliminary hearing date has been set for Harrison; a $50,000 bond was set for Miller, who is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m. 

 


An employee of 45 Express Mart called police at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 30 to report the armed robbery. 

 


The employee told officers two black males -- one displaying a shotgun -- entered the store and demanded money. After stealing an undetermined amount of cash, the suspects fled behind the store on foot.
