Sunday”s race will wrap up a weekend filled with great action. The Three Crown Nationals will kick off tonight at Greenville Speedway before moving Saturday to Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian.
Last weekend, the tour was slated to host a doubleheader, but Mother Nature had different ideas as late afternoon storms canceled the event at Columbus Speedway.
As a result, the tour”s only race of the weekend was its inaugural trip to Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala. Tim Busha took first in the 33-car field. Eric Cooley still leads the Jeff Burns Racing Engines Rookie of the Year points race and the overall standings. Dean Carpenter, Tony Shelton (second in the RoY standings), Brian Rickman, Johnny Stokes, Jason Milam, Rick Rickman, Jay Burchfield, and Mark Dodson follow him in the standings.
