Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen will be the featured speaker Tuesday night at the Starkville Country Club when the Starkville Quarterback Club launches its 46th season.
The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:40. Mullen will provide a scouting report for the University of Memphis, MSU”s opponent at 7 p.m. Thursday in Memphis, Tenn. He also will talk about the outlook for 2011 season.
BancorpSouth is sponsoring Mullen as featured speaker. The dinner for will be fried chicken, two vegetables, bread, salad, dessert, and tea.
“We have nearly 100 pre-paid memberships, and we expect a record membership this year,” QB Club President Brent Deweese said. “Anyone who would like to join the Starkville Quarterback Club can come to the first meeting Tuesday and pay their dues.”
Club dues are $125 for the season. For an additional $60, members are provided a meal that includes a meat (a weekly rotation of fried catfish filets, fried chicken, hamburger steaks, and pork chops), two vegetables, salad, bread, drink, and dessert for each of the 12 meetings.
