Postseason honors continue to roll in for the national champion East Mississippi Community College football team.
Freshman quarterback Bo Wallace and sophomore defensive end Denico Autry were each named to the NJCAA Football All-America First Team Monday.
Wallace established new NJCAA single-season national records for passing yards (4,604), total offense (4,810) and touchdowns (53).
The Pulaski, Tenn., native completed 336-of-502 passes, with only 14 interceptions.
Wallace threw seven touchdowns four times this season, including tossing that many in the Lions’ 55-47 El Toro Bowl over Arizona Western College.
Meanwhile, Autry, a native of Albemarle, N.C., led the EMCC defensive line with 81 total stops (54 solos, 27 assists), including a team-best 11 sacks and a team-best 13 tackles for loss.
Both Wallace and Autry were also recently named to the All-Region 23 team, with Wallace earning Region 23 Player of the Year honors.
