HAMILTON — Tyler White poued in 18 points Tuesday to lead the Heritage Academy boys basketball team past Hamilton High School 56-45.
Will West scored 12 points and Hunter Brown scored 11 for Heritage Academy (5-3).
n Heritage Academy 63, Hamilton 21 (G): At Hamilton, Christibeth Nelson scored 13 points to help the Lady Patriots beat the Lady Lions.
Joanna West scored 10 points and Madison Ford scored nine for Heritage Academy (4-7).
Heritage hosts Pillow Academy on Friday and travels to Washington School in Greenville on Satuday.
n Immanuel 37, Calhoun Academy 26 (G): At Calhoun City, Katy-Whitten Davidson scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Lady Rams to a victory.
Also for Immanuel, Nyki Baudoin scored seven points and had five rebounds, three steals and three assists, Abbey Good scored six points and had nine rebounds and Bailey Edwards scored six points.
Immanuel lost the junior varsity girls game 277-26. The Lady Rams were led by Taylor Baudoin with 11 points, five rebounds, six steals and six assists.
n Pickens Academy 48, Lowndes Academy 30 (B): At Carrollton, Ala., the Pirates pulled away in the fourth quarter Tuesday to beat Lowndes Academy 48-30 in an Alabama Independent School Association Class 2A, Region 2 game.
Pickens Academy (5-2, 1-1 region) outscored Lowndes Academy 19-2 in the fourth quarter after leading 29-28 at the end of the third quarter.
The Pirates led 21-14 at halftime before being outscored 14-8 in the third quarter.
Jacob Acker and Micbael Potts each had 11 points for Pickens Academy, while Grey Hankins with nine.
n Pickens Academy 32, Lowndes Academy 25: At Carrollton, Ala., Callie Minor led the Lady Pirates with team highs of 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Elisabeth Hankins scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds for Pickens Academy (7-2).
Pickens Academy trailed 8-6 at the end of the first quarter before rallying to lead 16-9 at halftime and 24-19 after the third period.
The next action for Pickens Academy is Thursday at Tuscaloosa Academy.
