ACKERMAN — Justin Frye poured in a team-leading 29 points Tuesday night to lead the Heritage Academy boys basketball team past Ackerman High School 90-72.
It was the sixth win in a row for Heritage Academy (14-4).
Tyler White scored 21 points and Will West scored 20 for Heritage Academy, which plays Friday at Pillow Academy.
n Heritage Academy 51, Ackerman 20 (G): At Ackerman, Christibeth Nelson scored 17 points and Madison Ford scored 14 to help the Lady Patriots beat Ackerman.
Morgan Lott scored eight points for Heritage Academy (8-12).
n Central Academy 41, Immanuel Christian 37, OT (G): At Macon, Corey Dawkins made a 3-pointer to force overtime, and Kendall Taylor scored a team-high 13 points to lead Central Academy past Immanuel Christian.
Corey Dawkins scored 11 points and Alex Dawkins scored eight as the Lady Vikings (9-7, 5-2 district) outscored the Lady Rams 7-3 in overtime.
Immanuel”s Nyki Baudoin led all scorers with 14 points. Katy-Whitten Davidson had 10 points and Meghan Cooper added six for the Lady Rams (12-8).
n Immanuel Christian 56, North River Christian 11 (G): At Steens, the Lady Rams held North River Christian scoreless in the first and fourth quarters en route to a win Monday night.
Immanuel was led by Nyki Baudoin with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals, Bailey Edwards with 14 points and nine steals, and Abby Good with eight points and seven rebounds.
n Immanuel Christian 66, Tupelo Christian 63 (G): At Steens, the Lady Rams outscored Tupelo Christian 20-12 in the fourth quarter to rally for a victory this past Saturday.
Leading the way for Immanuel were Taylor Baudoin with 19 points and 12 rebounds, Nyki Baudoin with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, Edwards with 12 points and six rebounds and Davidson with nine points and seven rebounds.
Immanuel also won the junior varsity game 30-3. Taylor Baudoin led the Lady Rams with nine points, seven rebounds and six steals.
n Immanuel Christian 34, Winona Christian 27 (G): At Winona, the Lady Rams didn”t score in the fourth quarter and was still able to hang on and beat Winona Christian on Friday.
Immanuel was led by Nyki Baudoin with 14 points, seven rebounds and four steals and Edwards with 10 points, 10 rebounds and six steals.
Immanuel lost the junior varsity game 35-30. Kaitlyn Shreiner led the Lady Rams with 14 points.
n Lamar County 68, Oakman 41 (B): At Vernon, Ala., Michael Bradford scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Bulldogs past Oakman on Tuesday.
Lamar County (8-2) led 14-9 after the first quarter and went on to lead 28-22 at halftime and 53-32 at the end of the third period.
Also for the Bulldogs, Marquis Plant scored 13 points, Jabbarrus Buchannan scored 11 and Will Franks scored nine.
n Lamar County 51, Oakman 48, OT (G): At Vernon, Ala., Sha”Kiah Jones made a free thow to tie the score 41-41 and send the game into overtime, and the Lady Bulldogs went on to outlast Oakman on Tuesday.
Lamar County (6-6) was led by Jones with 15 points, Kelsey Myles with 11 and Victoria Godsey with 10.
n Sulligent 52, Winston County 30 (B): At Sulligent, Ala., Dakota Carruth scored 22 points to lead the Blue Devils to a win Tuesday.
Tony Johnson scored 10 points for Sulligent (13-7).
n Sulligent 75, Winston County 23 (G): At Sulligent, Ala., Tori Lane scored 15 of her game-high 16 points in the first half as the Lady Blue Devils had little trouble winning Tuesday.
Sulligent (16-2), which won its sixth game in a row, led 24-9 after the first quarter and 45-15 at halftime en route to the win.
Also for Sulligent, Montana Hawkins scored 15 points, Laura Ashley Dean scored 10 and Jana Carruth had seven rebounds and seven assists.
n Pickens Academy 58, Meadowview Christian 39 (B): At Selma, Ala., Casey Jones scored 22 points to lead the Pirates to an AISA Class 2A, Region 2 victory Tuesday.
Pickens Academy (8-7, 3-4 region) was tied 21-21 at halftime before pulling away in the second half. The Pirates outscored Meadowview 23-10 in the third quarter and 14-8 in the fourth.
Also for the Pirates, Grey Hankins scored 13 points and Jacob Acker scored 10.
n Pickens Academy 49, Meadowview Christian 22 (G): At Selma, Ala., the Lady Pirates won their ninth game in a row by winning an AISA Class 2A, Region 2 game Tuesday.
Pickens Academy (15-2, 7-0 region) was led by Callie Minor with 15 points and 10 rebounds, Lincoln Pearson with 11 points and 10 rebounds, Tate Fuller with nine points and nine rebounds and Catherine Johnson with nine points.
The Lady Pirates led 12-8, 28-16 and 37-19 at the quarter breaks en route to the victory.
