Molly Rivers Edmondson of Starkville is among 70 University of Mississippi students to receive a 2015 Marcus Elvis Taylor Memorial Medal, the university’s highest academic award. The students were recognized April 9 during UM’s 72nd annual Honors Day Convocation, at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts.
Edmondson, a senior biochemistry major, plans to attend the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. A member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, she served as an Associated Student Body senator and an Ole Miss Ambassador. Listed in Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities, she is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Order of Omega honor societies and Delta Gamma sorority. A graduate of Starkville Academy, she is the daughter of Henry and Kathy Edmondson.
