The Office of Community Service, Campus Recreation and the Wesley Foundation at Mississippi University for Women will package 30,000 meals Thursday, April 22, in the Stark Recreation Center to support Stop Hunger Now. The event will be held from 4-6 p.m.
Stop Hunger Now is an international hunger relief organization that coordinates dehydrated food distribution around the world. The organizations at MUW have already packaged and sent 12,000 meals in January.
Donations will be accepted until the event. Cash, change and checks will be accepted, and checks should be made payable to the Wesley Foundation.
All volunteers are welcome to help package meals. For more information, contact Jessica Harpole at [email protected].
