On Thursday, April 11, in celebration of National Poetry Month, Mississippi University for Women’s Forum Series hosted by the Gordy Honors College will feature poets T.K. Lee and C.T. Salazar.
Author of the 2018 collection “To Square a Circle,” Lee is also an award-winning playwright and actor. As professor of English at The W, he teaches creative writing, playwriting, and literature to both graduate and undergraduate students.
Salazar is author of the newly released chapbook “This Might Have Meant Fire” and a graduate of The W’s MFA in Creative Writing Program. He is editor-in-chief of “Dirty Paws Poetry Review” and the 2017 AWP Intro Journals Poetry Winner.
After reading from their works, Lee and Salazar will together discuss their writing process and the importance of poetry.
