East Mississippi Community College students earned awards April 12 in the Mississippi Community College Creative Writing Association's annual workshop and contest at Holmes Community College. They attended with EMCC humanities instructors Janet Mullen, far left, and Marilyn Ford, far right. From left, students are Jordan Taylor of Caledonia (third place Poetry), Isabelle Ferrebee of Caledonia (honorable mention Literary Analysis), Justin Labonte of Caledonia (third place Literary Analysis) and Blair Madison of Columbus (second place Poetry, third place Short Fiction and honorable mention Poetry).
