Summer is in full swing: hot days, warm nights — and hopefully free time to add to knowledge, dust off a skill or expand a horizon. The Mississippi State University Extension Service offers two opportunities on designated Thursdays in July with free interactive video sessions from noon to 1 p.m. at county Extension offices. Quick Bites programs are available every month to those who sign up, free of charge. They feature specialists and experts in Mississippi on subjects ranging from gardening and horticulture to floral design, health and cooking.
Sessions are also held in Bost Extension Center, Room 409, for those on the MSU campus.

To sign up for any Quick Bites program, contact the appropriate Extension office: In Lowndes County, 662-328-2111; Oktibbeha County, 662-323-5916; Clay County, 662-494-5371.
County offices can sign up for the programs at https://techoutreach.extension.msstate.edu/quick-bites and click on the Sign Up for Quick Bites button under “For County Offices” area. Counties may also email [email protected] to be added to a particular program.
