Ava Cornelisen and Katherine Kerby, both of Columbus, are among 280 University of Alabama students receiving hands-on, innovative and advanced educational experiences with dozens of companies and organizations across the United States through UA’s Cooperative Education Program this summer.
Cornelisen is working at International Paper in Columbus.
Kerby will be working at Mercedes Benz in Alabama.
Students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment.
