According to Holly Herman, doctor of physical therapy, orthopedic and women’s health in Cambridge, Massachusetts, “Repeated wrist motions and hand movements can put increased pressure on the nerve, weakening ability to grasp objects, numb hands and fingers or aggravating the ‘pins and needles’ sensation in hands and wrists, which can all be signs of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)”.
