The Starkville Civic League will host its annual Christmas Tour of Homes from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8. Four homes will be featured. Tickets are $25 and available now at the Greater Starkville Development Partnership located at 200 E. Main Street, Starkville, and from Civic League members. Tickets may also be purchased on the afternoon of the tour at Starkville Public Library, which will host a reception from 1-4 p.m.
Homeowners generously opening their homes for the tour are Alan and Amy Page of Dodson Farm on Mount Olive Road; Davis and Mary Ann Richards on Adelaide Boulevard; Joel and Toni Clements in Belmont Park; and Tom and Brooke Lammert on Worley Street. A map of locations is printed on the reverse side of the event tickets.
Members of the Civic League, along with friends of the homeowners, will be hostesses in the homes on tour.
Those who purchase tickets are invited to the reception at the Starkville Public Library on Dec. 8. Civic League members will provide refreshments for the reception and serve a hostesses.
Proceeds from the Civic League fundraising event provide money for its annual $1,500 Starkville Civic League Camp Gaston Scholarship for a deserving high school senior, and for different community groups.
