The Columbus-Lowndes Public Library System (CLPL) is hosting the online presentation “Preserving Your Church’s History” on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at noon.
The talk will be presented by Heather Moore, head of Special Collections at Mississippi College. Moore will explore what items should be collected as well as how to preserve those items for future generations. She will also help guide participants on where to locate resources in one’s church or in other locations. In addition, Moore will touch on where to start when writing a church history.
“Preserving Your Church’s History” will be presented over Zoom and will only be accessible via a link. The link will be available on the CLPL’s Facebook page or you can receive it by contacting Mona Vance-Ali at 662-329-5304 or [email protected].
