Stacie Elizabeth Edwards and Thomas Blake Hanson were married April 7, 2013, at Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City, Ga., with the Rev. Hugh Kirby officiating. The bride is the daughter of Raymond L. Edwards Jr. of Jackson and Martha Elrod of Fayetteville, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brooks McCrorey of Mineral Bluff, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Edwards Sr. of Brandon, and the late Charlotte Edwards. She was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline and beaded belt. Her fingertip veil of illusion was anchored with a flower and feather comb. She wore a pearl necklace and chandelier pearl earrings, and carried a bouquet of white mini calla lilies, pincushion protea, alstroemeria and yellow aster. Serving as matron of honor was Lauren Crain of Sharpsburg, Ga. Maid of honor was Alison Turner of Atlanta. Bridesmaids were Megan Edwards and Erika Edwards, sisters of the groom, both of Fayetteville; Rachel Swafford of Atlanta; Nicole Odom of Sharpsburg; and Leslie Lowery of Newnan, Ga. Bridesmaids wore knee-length royal blue dresses with one shoulder necklines and bell skirts. They carried yellow mixed bouquets and wore jewelry given to them by the bride. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hanson of Columbus. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Millender of Aberdeen, Louise Hanson of Amory, and the late James H. Hanson. His father served as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Hanson, brother of the groom, of St. Louis; Jacob Hanson, brother of the groom, of Starkville; Jonathan Holloway of South Haven; Michael Holloway of Tupelo; Justin Taloney of Mobile, Ala.; and David Wood of Brandon. Following a wedding trip to Savannah Beach Resort in Barbados, the couple resides in Madison, where the groom is employed with Nissan of North America and the bride is a wellness coordinator at St. Dominicís.
