Breanna Paige Munger of Hartselle, Ala., and Marshall Tyler Bratton of West Point were married Jan. 3, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Starkville with the Rev. Jeff Morgan officiating. The bride is the daughter of Tom and Melanie Munger of Hartselle. She is the granddaughter of Etta Mae Thompson and the late Jerry Thompson of Hartselle and the late Bill and Pat Munger of Cullman, Ala. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Tom Munger. The bride wore a formal designer gown of blush colored silk shantung and ivory re-embroidered Venice lace. The strapless gown featured a modified sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical ruching over the molded bodice and natural waistline. Her lace-edged veil of imported French tulle was walking length and held in place by a handcrafted bridal comb of pearls and faceted crystals. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink and green orchids, roses and calla lilies intertwined with curly willow. Amanda Munger Ouzts of Starkville, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Allison Bratton Carter of West Point, sister of the groom, Lizzie Hendrix and Lisa Speake, both of Hartselle, Mitzi Russell of Starkville, Sabrina Armstrong of Brookhaven, Stacy Stepp of New Albany and Katie Orr of Brandon served as bridesmaids. Catherine Tyler Carter of West Point, niece of the groom, was a flower girl. The bridal attendants wore calypso taffeta ballgowns with an antique halter neckline and chocolate bands with sashes at the waistline. The groom is the son of Marion and Emily Bratton of West Point. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James I. Rhea of West Point and the late Marion and Martha Bratton of West Point. Marion Bratton, father of the groom, served as best man. Brandon McGarity, Justin Davis and Dave Nanney, all of West Point, Justin Brewer and Zach Bost, both of Starkville, Josh Johnson of Caledonia and Caley Chrismond of Tupelo served as groomsmen. After a wedding trip to Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, the couple resides in Starkville, where the groom is the director of baseball operations at Mississippi State University and the bride is an assistant manager at Bella Nova Salon.
