Angie Renea Gallop and Robert Kenna Blakeney of Brandon were married Oct. 25, 2014, at 6 p.m. at The Church of the Holy Trinity in Vicksburg, with the Rev. Beth A. Palmer officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Charles Gallop of Vernon, Alabama, and Dan and Michelle Berry of Pensacola, Florida. She is the granddaughter of the late Ms. Doris E. Douglas of Columbus and Thomas and Jean Douglas of Russelville, Alabama, and the late Theo and Helen Gallop of Vernon. She was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory, beaded, all-lace sweetheart strapless dress with detachable beaded tulle train. Pamela Gallop Montgomery of Brandon, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashlie Danielle Gallop of Caledonia, sister of bride; Lindsey Parker Robertson of Meridian; Lucy Nickels Rhett of Columbus; Alison Elmore Mitchell and Heather Pittman Emplaincourt, both of Tupelo; Kristin Blake James of Huntsville, Alabama; Melissa Ann Carter of Birmingham, Alabama; Amanda Beam Chappell of Clinton; and Dawn Myrick Field of Shuqualak. Attendants wore black chiffon one-strap dresses. Molly Kate Adams of Clinton served as junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Taylor Nicole Montgomery of Brandon; Kenna Joy Pickett of Hattiesburg; and Braelynn Marie Warren of Vicksburg. The groom is the son of Rickey Blakeney of Vicksburg and Jean Blakeney of Edwards. He is the grandson of Dorothy Brasfield and the late F. E. Brasfield of Edwards, and Lessie Blakeney and the late Joe Blakeney of Raleigh. The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Lance Curtis Warnock, David Austin Henry and Adam Keith Embry, all of Vicksburg; Andrew Cole Embry of Charleston, South Carolina; William Walden Klaus and Bradley Dean James, both of Hattiesburg; Zachary Allen Nader of Gulfport; Justin Allen Palmer of Meridian; Brian Anthony Dyess of New Orleans; and Timothy Michael Hall Jr. of Pensacola, Florida. Seth Chadwick Baird of Horn Lake served as junior groomsman. Tyler Bradley Montgomery of Brandon served as ring bearer. Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Brandon, where the groom is employed in offshore drilling with Ensco of Houston, Texas and the bride is a registered nurse with Women’s Associates in Flowood.
