Kristen Lee Keeton of Calhoun City and Jacob Andrew Hanson of Starkville exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 2, 2017, at Hewlett Barn in Starkville, with the Rev. Danny Spratlin officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Keeton of Calhoun City. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ray Teas of Calhoun City, and Mrs. Martha Keeton of Calhoun City and the late Mr. Rudell Keeton. She was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore an ivory lace fit to flare gown accented with a beaded belt. Her cathedral-length veil was trimmed in matching lace and pearls. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of cream and burgundy roses and seeded eucalyptus. Susan Keeton of Starkville, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Cortney Goodson of Starkville served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Debra Keeton of Medina, Tennessee, sister-in-law of the bride; Stacie Hanson of Madison, sister-in-law of the groom; Chelsea Carter of Bruce, cousin of the bride; Marlee Vance of Calhoun City, cousin of the bride; and Cheslin Astorino of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Attendants wore floor-length burgundy chiffon dresses with faux-wrap pleated skirts and V-necklines. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hanson of Columbus. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Millender of Aberdeen, and Mrs. Louise Hanson of Amory and the late Mr. James H. Hanson. Serving as best men were Matthew Hanson of St. Charles, Missouri, and Blake Hanson of Madison, both brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Hanson of Columbus, father of the groom; Michael Keeton of Medina, Tennessee, brother of the bride; Dustin Keeton of Calhoun City, brother of the bride; Jason Keeton of Jackson, Tennessee, brother of the bride; and Wesley Smith of Tremont. Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the couple resides in Starkville, where the groom is employed by Steele Dynamics Inc. in crane maintenance. The bride is a speech-language pathologist with West Point City Schools.
