Haley Marie Frias of Georgetown, Texas, and Lt. Weston James Nichols of San Antonio, Texas, exchanged wedding vows at noon Jan. 5, 2019, at First Baptist Church in San Antonio, with the Rev. Don Guthrie officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Frias of Georgetown. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Susana Frias and the late Mr. John Frias, Mary Barrera, and Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Barrera, all of Georgetown. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with a fitted bodice, embellished with seed pearls and capped with an illusion neckline. Its V-shaped corset back was completed with a chapel-length train. Caitlyn Fowler of Lubbock, Texas, served as matron of honor. Rikki Blue of Abilene, Texas, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Krystal Herrera of Georgetown, sister of the bride; Brynne Nichols of San Antonio, sister-in-law of the bride; Alexis Gonzalez of Waco, Texas; Quincy Daniel of Houston, Texas; Karina Velez of Eagle Pass, Texas; and Melina Merritt of Round Rock, Texas. Bridal attendants wore formal chiffon gowns in hues of blush or burgundy, in individually-chosen styles. Stella Dolese of Benton, Louisiana, first cousin of the groom, served as flower girl. The groom is the son of Col. (USAF Ret.) and Mrs. William S. Nichols of San Antonio. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nichols of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Cockerham of Columbus. Reagan Nichols of San Antonio, twin brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Conner Nichols of San Antonio, brother of the groom; Austin Frias of Georgetown, brother of the bride; James Lyons and Kevin Peng, both of Yorktown, Virginia; Stephen Bell of San Antonio; Luke Smith and Brendan Jones, both of Hattiesburg; and Beler Watts of Huntsville, Alabama. E. G. Dominguez of Georgetown, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer. Following a wedding cruise to the Western Caribbeans, the couple resides in Fort Eustis in Newport News, Virginia The groom is a logistics officer in the U.S. Army. The bride, who holds a masterís degree in accounting, is a military wife.
