Rebecca Halie Bernet and Dale Robert Huffine were married May 23, 2010, at Ashton Gardens in Houston, Texas, with Pastor Dan Hauser of Crosspoint Community Lutheran Church in Katy, Texas, officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Philip Bernet III of Katy. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Melvin Puls and the late Robert Herman Crowder of Columbus, and Dr. and Mrs. Carl Philip Bernet Jr. of Greenwood. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Huffine of Osage Beach, Mo., and the grandson of the late Frances Skaggs Bagley of Riverside Calif., the late Alward Forster Fenn of Phoenix, Ariz., the late Emma Margaret Boe of North Hollywood, Calif., and the late William Carlton Huffine of Las Vegas, Nev. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white one-piece strapless, A-line gown featuring a bodice with hand-beaded embroidery appliqué and a side-wrapped bodice. The gown was finished with a tulle chapel-length train with matching appliqués. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of mini callas, hydrangea and Katarina, with eskimo and lemon leaves at the base, wrapped in white satin ribbon. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Allyson Purdy of College Station, Texas. Bridesmaids were Katherine Bernet Coates of Calgary, Alberta; Margaret Victoria Bernet of Katy, sister of the bride; Tara Trocchio and Jessica Fannin, both of Houston, Texas; and Kristina Leng and Ashley Boye of Cape Coral, Fla. Attendants wore strapless, black, knee-length satin dresses, with inverted pleats falling from a cummerbund waist. Each carried a bouquet of Orlando and hot lady roses bound with black satin ribbon. Ansley and J’Lynn Huffine of Osage Beach, Mo., Annabell Keesler of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Abby Burke of San Angelo, Texas, served as flower girls. Benji Huffine of Iowa City, Iowa, served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Huffine II and Christopher Huffine of Osage Beach; Tad Bernet of Denver, Colo.; and Justin Bond of College Station, Texas. Benjamin Huffine II of Iowa City served as ring-bearer. Following a reception at Ashton Gardens, the couple honeymooned in Cancun.
