Local utility companies announced Monday they were joining with the Tennessee Valley Authority to push energy efficiency in the state.
The campaign, which TVA officials called a “challenge” to local customers, will promote existing and new energy-efficiency incentives, including in-home energy evaluations and renovation incentives.
For more information about incentives available through Columbus Light and Water or 4-County Electric Power Association, visit TVA”s energy savings website, EnergyRight.com. Customers can also purchase blocks of green power at GreenPowerSwitch.com.
CL&W is also preparing to roll out a new, separate pilot program that will offer even more energy-efficiency incentives. For more information on that program, which should be available mid-May, contact the CL&W office.
