A 17-year-old girl was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle with moderate injuries after her sports utility vehicle left Caledonia-Steens Road and rolled over Wednesday afternoon near Caledonia.
Greg Wright, chief deputy of the Lowndes County Sheriff”s Office, said Ashley Moehring was driving a silver 2002 Toyota 4Runner around 3:30 p.m. when she ran off the road. No alcohol or drugs were involved and no citations were issued.
Wright said due to Moehring”s injuries, officers were unable to question her on the scene to determine what may have caused the accident.
