JACKSON — The Mississippi Department of Education said four public high school seniors from Mississippi, including Columbus and Starkville students, have been chosen as semifinalists for the 2012 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.
Brian Xu of Starkville High School, Charlotte Wang of Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus, Charles McCrory of Florence High School and Andrew Mullen of Oxford High School are semifinalists from public schools.
