The following cases were heard in the recent Lowndes County Circuit Court term:
Judge Jim Kitchens:
■ Michael Anthony was charged with possession of cocaine. His probation was revoked, he was sentenced to serve three years in Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) and he shall submit to drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs.
■ Ronald Bearden pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to serve three years probation; $250.00 probation; and attend and in-patient alcohol and drug program by MDOC.
■ Reginald Bradley pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was sentenced to five years in prison with one year to serve; four years probation; $500.00 fine; and $1761.45 restitution.
■ Frederick Butler pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced to ten years in prison with three years to serve; five years probation; and $500.00 fine.
■ Demarco Elliott pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and was sentenced to ten years in prison; $250.00 restitution; and $500.00 fine.
■ Darius Frierson was charged with grand larceny. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to ten years in MDOC and shall complete long-term alcohol and drug recovery at MDOC.
■ Anthony Harnden pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC with three years to serve; four years probation; and $250.00 fine.
■ Jonathan Joiner pleaded guilty to malicious mischief and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with five years suspended; five years probation; and $7,129.36 restitution.
■ Larry Jones Jr. pleaded guilty to fleeing a law enforcement officer and was sentenced to five years in MDOC; and $500.00 fine.
■ Willie Clifton Jones Jr. was charged with burglary of a business. His probation has been modified to attend and complete restitution center and complete probation in MDOC.
■ Edward Kidd pleaded guilty to statutory rape and was sentenced to ten years in prison with ten years suspended; five years probation; and $500.00 fine.
■ Otis Latham pleaded guilty to burglary of an automobile and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC; and $300.00 restitution.
■ Eddie McGregory pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was sentenced to three years in MDOC; $500.00 fine; and drug and alcohol treatment.
■ Eddie Moore was charged with possession of cocaine. His probation was modified to attend restitution center to pay in full all fines, restitution and court cost and ordered to drug and alcohol restitution.
■ Jessie Patman pleaded guilty to simple assault on law enforcement officer and was sentenced to five years in prison with one year and twenty-one days to serve; $300.00 restitution; and $500.00 fine.
■ Deangelo Sherrod pleaded guilty to sale of hydrocodone and was sentenced to eight years in MDOC; $250.00 restitution; and $500.00 fine.
■ Timothy Standifer pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to three years in MDOC; and $500.00 fine.
■ Caitlin Stockman was charged with possession of methamphetamine less than .1 grams and was sentenced to five years probation; and $250.00 fine.
■ D’Mario Thompson pleaded guilty to five years in prison with one year to serve; and $250.00 fine.
■ Clarris Turner was charged with sale of cocaine. Defendant’s probation was revoked and sentenced to five years in MDOC; and submit to long-term alcohol and drug rehabilitation.
■ Mark Vestal pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to eight years in prison with eight years suspended; five years probation; $250.00 restitution; and $500.00 fine.
■ Victor White pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was sentenced to eight years in MDOC with one year Intensive Supervision Program; five years probation; and $1,000.00 fine.
■ Jeremy Williams was charged with fleeing law enforcement officer. His probation was modified to attend and complete restitution center.
■ Tyrone Wilson pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced to fifteen years in prison with one year to serve; five years probation; and $500.00 fine.
■ Barbara Young pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced to ten years in MDOC with three years to serve; five years probation; $1,200.00 restitution; and $250.00 fine.
Judge Lee Howard:
■ Austin Baird pleaded guilty to statutory rape and was sentenced to serve five years in MDOC; five years probation; and $750.00 fine.
■ Jeremiah Besimi was charged with sale of cocaine and violated the terms of his probation. He was sentenced to serve 190 days in a technical violation center.
■ Amy Bogan pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to serve three years in MDOC; three years probation; and $500.00 fine.
■ Eric Brewer pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (third offense) and was sentenced to serve five years in MDOC, two years intensive supervision program (ISP) and three years probation.
■ Quenten Cox pleaded guilty to burglary of an automobile and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC with seven years suspended; five years probation; and $300.00 fine.
■ Lucy Crabbe was charged with embezzlement and was sentenced to five years probation; $42,758.00 restitution; and $1,000.00 fine.
■ Delores Crump pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced to twelve years in MDOC with seven years to serve; five years probation; and $1,500.00 fine.
■ Darius Ellis pleaded guilty to sexual battery and was sentenced to thirty years in MDOC and shall register as sex offender.
■ Anna Ervin pleaded guilty to identity theft and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC with two years to serve; five years probation; and $7,754.21 restitution.
■ Charles Eyman pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced to ten years in MDOC with two years to serve; five years probation; $4,276.00 restitution; and $1,000.00 fine.
■ Demario Gandy pleaded guilty to driving under the influence third offense and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with one year intensive supervision program and four years post-release supervision; and $2,000.00 fine.
■ Bryan Guyton pleaded guilty to grand larceny and was sentenced to ten years in MDOC with eight years to serve; five years probation; and $5,155.00 restitution.
■ Damien Hampton was charged with possession of cocaine and pleaded guilty to fleeing a law enforcement officer. His previous probation was revoked and he was sentenced to five years in MDOC with an additional five years in MDOC with three years to serve; and two years probation.
■ Jonathan Harris pleaded guilty to domestic violence third offense and was sentenced to eight years in MDOC with two years to serve.
■ Orlando Harris pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence and was sentenced to two years in MDOC.
■ Anthony Hendricks pleaded guilty to possession of weapon by a felon and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with one year Intensive Supervision Program; and $1,000.00 fine.
■ Tyshaun Hudson pleaded guilty to possession of weapon by a felon and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with one year Intensive Supervision Program; four years probation; and $500.00 fine.
■ Franklin Kyzer pleaded guilty to embezzlement and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with one year Intensive Supervision Program; four years probation; $1,726.00 in restitution; and $750.00 fine.
■ Danny Earl Macon pleaded guilty to sale of cocaine and was sentenced to five years in MDOC; and $1,000.00 fine.
■ Stanton Lee Madison was charged with possession of precursors. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to five years in MDOC and submit to long-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
■ Sammie McCoy was charged with possession of marijuana and his sentence was modified to attend and complete restitution center.
■ Marcus McLeod pleaded guilty to statutory rape and will be sentenced to eleven years in MDOC with one year to serve; five years post-release; and $1,000.00 fine.
■ Shern Miller pleaded guilty to third offense of driving under the influence and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with two years in Intensive Supervision Program; and $3,000.00 fine.
■ James Mullins pleaded guilty to grand larceny and was sentenced to ten years in MDOC with two years in Intensive Supervision Program; $5,155.00 restitution; and $1,000.00 fine.
■ Bethany Partridge pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to three years probation; and $500.00 fine.
■ Rafael Payne pleaded guilty to statutory rape and was sentenced to twenty years in MDOC with three years to serve; five years probation; and $500.00 fine.
■ Johnathan Pegues was charged with attempted possession of marijuana. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to eight years in MDOC; and attend and complete long-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
■ Demetrus Pratt pleaded guilty to burglary of a building and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC with two years to serve; five years probation; $6,840.32 restitution; and $750.00 fine.
■ Jovante Scott was charged with possession of cocaine. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to ten years in MDOC.
■ Tavoris Sherrod pleaded guilty to burglary of a building other than a dwelling and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC with two years Intensive Supervision Program.
■ Victoria Slayton was charged with uttering forgery. Her probation was revoked and she was sentenced to ten years in MDOC; and attend and complete long-term alcohol and drug rehabilitation.
■ William Smith was charged with burglary of a building. His probation has been modified to attend and complete restitution center.
■ Brian Stokes pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was sentenced to one year in MDOC; and $500.00 fine.
■ Oscar Lee Taylor pleaded guilty to possession of weapon by a felon and was sentenced to ten years in MDOC with two years to serve; five years probation; and $750.00 fine.
■ William Henry Taylor pleaded guilty to burglary of a business and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC with five years to serve; two years probation; and $500.00 fine.
■ Terry Allen Williams pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with one year to serve; four years probation; and $300.00 fine.
■ Tony Williams pleaded guilty to sale of hydrocodone and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with two years Intensive Supervision Program; five years probation; and $1,500.00 fine.
■ Steven Yarbrough pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on law enforcement officer and was sentenced to eight years and 153 days in MDOC; and $500.00 fine.
Judge Lee Coleman:
■ Jefferson Clayborn pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by a felon and was sentenced to ten years in MDOC with six years to serve; four years probation; and $1200.00 fine.
■ Terrance Cotton was charged with possession of stolen property and sentenced to ten years in MDOC.
■ Jalan Cunningham pleaded guilty to carjacking and was sentenced to twenty years MDOC with nine years to serve; five years probation; and $1,200 fine.
■ Roosevelt Davis pleaded guilty to sale of hydrocodone and was sentenced to fifteen years in MDOC with two years to be served in Intensive Supervision Program; five years probation; and $2,400.00 fine.
■ Kristopher Douglas pleaded guilty to sale of marijuana less than thirty grams and was sentenced to three years non-adjudicated probation; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Aaron Ray Dubose pleaded guilty to possession of meth precursors and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with five years suspended; five years probation; and $1,200 fine.
■ Antonio J. Gutierrez pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to three years of MDOC with two years in Intensive Supervision Program and one year probation; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Artquan Ingram pleaded guilty to probation violation and was sentenced to three years in MDOC with one year Intensive Supervision Program; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ William J. Keating pleaded guilty to burglary, other than a dwelling, and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC with seven years suspended; five years probation; $3,400.00 restitution; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Chad Latham pleaded guilty to possession of oxycodone and was sentenced to fifteen years in MDOC with five years to serve; five years probation; and $2,400.00 fine.
■ Timothy Leech was charged with kidnapping and was dismissed without prejudice.
■ Roderick Long pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with three years to serve; two years probation; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Jimmy Manning was charged with sale of hydrocodone and was sentenced to three years probation; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Sherman McCoy was charged with breaking inner door of dwelling and was sentenced to four years in MDOC with two years suspended; two years probation; $593.00 in restitution; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ James C. Newell Jr. pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to twenty years in MDOC with ten years to serve; five years probation; and $2,400.00 fine.
■ Jennifer A. Norris pleaded guilty to false pretense and was sentenced to three years probation; $901.81 restitution; and $1,000.00 fine.
■ Phillip Parker pleaded guilty to fleeing law enforcement officer and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with one year Intensive Supervision Program; four years probation; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Marcus Perry pleaded guilty to uttering forgery and was sentenced to three years in MDOC with two years to serve; one year probation; $2,351.17 restitution; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Selvain Richardson pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, less than two grams, and was sentenced to three years in MDOC with two years Intensive Supervision Program; one year probation; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Emmanuel Shotwell pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with two years Intensive Supervision Program; three years probation; and $600.00 fine.
■ Gerald Simons pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by a felon and was sentenced to ten years in MDOC with five years to serve; five years probation; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Dealio Thomas was charged with burglary of a building. His probation was revoked and was sentenced to seven years in MDOC; and submit to drug and alcohol programs.
■ James Unruh pleaded guilty to burglary other than a dwelling and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with two years Intensive Supervision Program; three years probation; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Joan White pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of ID and was sentenced to five years in MDOC with one year Intensive Supervision Program; four years probation; $983.17 restitution; and $1,200.00 fine.
■ Penny Tate White pleaded guilty to false pretense and was sentenced to three years in MDOC with one year Intensive Supervision Program; two years probation; $942.83 restitution; and $500.00 fine.
