The Columbus Police Department arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly burglarizing his romantic partner’s house.
On Sunday, Ryan Troester, of 704 First St. S., allegedly kicked in the door to a house on 11th Avenue North, according to a CPD press release. Authorities say Troester was dating one of the home’s occupants. He was arrested at the scene.
Troester is being charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling. His bond was set at $20,000.
CPD on Monday also arrested another Columbus 20-year-old and charged him with aggravated assault.
Kendrea Lashawn Billups, of 906 17th St. N., was arrested after authorities said a 23-year-old patient at Baptist Memorial Hospital reported on Sunday, May 8, that Billups struck him in the head with a tire iron.
Billups’ bond has been set at $30,000.
