A Starkville woman is behind bars after she was arrested for allegedly stabbing a victim.
Starkville Police Department charged Dexise Henley, 22, with domestic violence — aggravated assault Sunday after an incident occurred on Hospital Road.
Henley was taken to the Oktibbeha County Jail.
In a separate arrest, Local law enforcement didn’t have to go far to find and charge a Starkville man with auto burglary Monday.
SPD served Larry Nance III, 26, with a felony warrant for an incident that occurred Friday in the Cotton District.
Nance was already in police custody for an unrelated misdemeanor charge when he was served, a SPD release reads.
Both Henley’s and Nance’s initial appearances in Starkville Municipal Court were scheduled for Monday night.
SPD released no further information on either arrest.
Anyone with information about these or any other incidents is asked to call SPD at 662-323-4131 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
