Two Starkville men face residential burglary charges in separate break-ins.
Starkville Police Department arrested Keyontay Raheem Young, 18, Saturday on two counts of the felony stemming from a Friday incident at Academy Village.
SPD also charged Brandon Burchfield, 29, Monday with one count of residential burglary, possession of paraphernalia, obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident at an apartment on Garrard Road.
Both men were separately processed and booked in Oktibbeha County Jail.
Young’s initial appearance in Starkville Municipal Court was scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, a SPD release states, and Burchfield will appear in court on Aug. 29.
Both burglaries remain under investigation.
SPD released no additional information about the arrests.
