A suspect in an attempted armed robbery is in custody after she turned herself in to authorities on Monday.
Columbus Police Department was searching for Elboni Glenn, 20, of Columbus, for her suspected role in an Aug. 4 robbery attempt in the Walmart parking lot on Highway 45.
Police alleged that Glenn used a rifle during the attempted robbery of a female customer who was returning to her vehicle. No one was injured in the incident.
Glenn appeared before Municipal Court Judge Rhonda Ellis on Tuesday for one count of armed robbery. Ellis set her bond at $100,000.
Glenn is still in Lowndes County Adult Detention Center as of this morning, according to jail personnel.
