JACKSON — Vice President-elect Mike Pence will spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Mississippi where his son, who is a Marine, is stationed.
The Clarion-Ledger reports the presidential transition team said Monday Pence will head south either Tuesday evening or this morning for the visit with one of his three children.
The Pensacola News Journal reports Pence’s son, Marine 2nd Lt. Michael J. Pence, had recently been stationed at Naval Air Station Pensacola. He is training to be a Marine pilot and had been with Training Air Wing Five, learning to fly the T-6 B Texan II training aircraft.
