Starkville police officers are reminding residents to be aware of their surroundings and report suspicious activity after two armed robberies occurred this week.
On Wednesday, an armed robbery was reported at Dollar General’s 1006 North Jackson St. parking lot. One day later, another incident occurred in an apartment complex parking lot on Locksley Way.
The Starkville Police Department is actively investigating both incidents, but the department did not release any other information Friday.
Anyone with information about these or any other incidents is asked to contact SPD at 662-323-4131 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
SPD encourages those reporting suspicious activity to provide as much information as possible.
