Officers with the Columbus Police Department are searching for a suspect in a Tuesday night armed robbery at the Texaco at the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Military Road.
An unidentified black male entered the store at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash, according to CPD Assistant Police Chief Fred Shelton. Shelton said the clerk was not injured.
The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Shelton said.
Investigators are using surveillance video from the Texaco to attempt to identify a suspect.
