A La Terraza employee was struck by a car utilized by two suspects as they fled the Mexican restaurant Thursday without paying for their meals.
Starkville police officers are searching for the two suspects, who fled the scene in a white sedan and could face aggravated assault charges.
Starkville Police Department did not release descriptions or gender of the suspects.
Surveillance footage provided by SPD shows a number of people gathered near the front of the restaurant — located on Eckford Drive — but The Dispatch could not ascertain which of those pictured are suspected of the crime.
A SPD press release did not reveal a time for the incident, but Public Information Officer Brandon Lovelady said the victim did not request treatment at the scene.
SPD did not report any other details about the incident.
Anyone with information about this or any other incident is asked to call SPD at 662-323-4131 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151. Crime Stoppers may offer a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
