A Starkville man was charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors after a Saturday traffic stop.
Preston Harris, 28, made his initial appearance in Starkville Municipal Court Monday and faces a total bond of $18,131.25.
He was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday on Westside Drive and charged with two felonies — possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm — and numerous misdemeanors: failure to stop when signaled by an officer, possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct, disregard for a traffic device, no driver’s license and no insurance.
Starkville Police Department released no additional details about the arrest.
