Authorities are looking for a Columbus teenager in connection with a September car shooting.
Columbus Police Department emailed a press release Monday asking for the public’s help locating 17-year-old Vershawn Orlando Williams. According to the press release, Williams is a person of interest in a Sept. 20 incident where someone allegedly shot into a vehicle.
The shooting occurred near the intersection of 15th Street and Eighth Avenue North, the press release said. At the time, the vehicle was occupied, but no one was injured. Police received the report of the shooting the next day, CPD Capt. Brent Swan said.
