Investigators with Columbus Police Department are searching for four suspects who reportedly shoplifted more than $1,500 worth of items from Dick’s Sporting Goods last month.
Police have released surveillance footage of the four suspects and are asking for the public’s help identifying them. The suspects entered the Highway 45 North store on May 20 and filled shopping bags from another company with six different Yeti brand items before walking out the front door, according to a CPD press release.
Yeti is a national company based in Austin, Texas, and specializing in high-end coolers and other outdoor products.
“This group knew what they were after before they came into the store,” CPD Chief Fred Shelton said in the press release. “They took high-end coolers and bags that were worth up to $300 each. We believe someone knows who they are and ask them to contact Crime Stoppers.”
The press release said the suspects were in the store less than six minutes.
Anyone with information on the incident or the suspects’ identities is asked to call Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
