Mary Ann Shows, fitness assistant and trainer with the North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point wellness center, has been selected as the hospital’s most recent employee of the quarter.
Shows is a longtime member of the hospital’s auxiliary and currently serves as president. She joined the wellness center staff in April 2012. A graduate of West Point High School, she is certified as a personal trainer through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America. She teaches the arthritis exercise class, spin, pilates and a quarterly balance class that is open to the public.
She and her husband, Darrell Shows, have two children, Murray and Cody, and three grandchildren, Coleman, Jase and Mattox. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church and is an active community volunteer.
