The Crawford man accused of shooting into a dwelling earlier this year has turned himself in to Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office after investigators alleged he threatened a witness in the case.
Dekylan Coreonteau Malone, 18, of Long Street, was arrested Wednesday for intimidating a witness by threat, according to an LCSO press release.
According to previous reporting by The Dispatch, Malone was arrested in July after he allegedly fired multiple shots into a home on Long Street, near where he lives, on March 28. Investigators confirmed Wednesday that the witness Malone allegedly threatened is a witness in that case.
Malone is currently in custody at Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. His bond has not been set.
