A 19-year-old Columbus man was stabbed early today while talking to a woman outside a local night spot, according to police.
The victim told officers he and the woman were by The Goose, a night club on 22nd Street South, just after midnight when they were approached by a man thought to be the woman”s boyfriend.
The man, who is known to police, stabbed the victim in the chest and cut his right hand with an unknown object, said police Public Information Officer Terrie Songer.
The victim was taken in stable condition to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
