David Bruce “Dave” Studdard age 76 died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at his residence in Caledonia. Services were Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Harding and Rev. David Westmoreland officiating, burial with U.S. Navy Honors followed at Egger Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Studdard was born on Wednesday, January 22, 1941 in Splint, KY to the late Lynn Studdard and Elizabeth Wells Studdard. He was a member of St. Paul Independent Methodist Church and a U. S. Navy Veteran exiting as an E-5 2nd Class Petty Officer. He was the former owner/operator of Studdard’s Auto Repair. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Wilma Fay Studdard, his sister Brenda Hatley Survivors include: His Wife: Judy Pennington Studdard Caledonia MS; Daughters: Kim Riba (Bryan), O Fallon, IL, Lauire Lollar (Gene), Vernon, AL; Son: Craig Studdard (Patty), Cookeville, TN; Mother: Elizabeth Wells Studdard, Aberdeen, MS; Step-son: Scott Geer, Memphis, TN; Sisters: Robin Wheat (Greg), Caledonia, MS, Peggy Flippo , Caledonia, MS; Brothers: Jerry Studdard (Karen), Caledonia, MS, Roger Studdard, Caledonia, MS; Grandchildren: Lauren Putnam (Justin), Trea Studdard (Kirsten), Austin Riba, Tori Studdard, Alex Riba, Tia Studdard, Abby Lollar; Great Grandchildren: Carter Putnam, Caleb Putnam, Zoe Putnam. The Pallbearers were: Gene Corbell, Gene Lollar, Bryan Riba, Justin Putnam, Allan Jones, and Greg Wheat. The Honorary Pallbearers were: Allan Morton, Andy Tingle, Tom Younger, David Blair, Bob Oakes, and The 14th Mississippi Infantry Regiment.
