Hear ye! Leroy Brooks has resigned as supervisor and is now submitting his resume for police chief of Brooksville.
Wish this were true.
This would be a news story worth reading about. Since I can no longer view the Board of Supervisor”s meetings — changed cable service and Direct TV does not broadcast the meeting — I miss the antics of Leroy and Harry Sanders. The best amusing TV viewing for me when watching.
Leroy needs to move on. I agree with the Sunday editorial comments written by Claude Simpson. Leroy is doing nothing but bringing shame on himself and the board and the city of Columbus. His comments at the political meeting a few weeks ago were uncalled for. The whole audience was laughing about him. Run a legitimate race, and let the votes fall where they may. Maybe this is the time for change in this supervisory district.
