Response to online comment
In response to Clayallday’s online comment, “Crowds flock to Chick-fil-A,” in Wednesday’s Dispatch, I would ask the writer if he or she has thought about the hundreds of orphanages and schools sponsored by Christians and Christian groups that benefit children dying of AIDS. Or maybe locally Recovery House, which many Christians support that help abused women. Or locally Helping Hands which Christians support that supplies food to needy families. Or maybe Relay for Life, which helps raise funds for Cancer research. Or the Salvation Army, and many other groups of Christians who do something that make a true difference every day. A group of Christians from my church recently returned from Haiti for the third or fourth time where they built houses for people still recovering from the earthquake. Maybe the writer is not aware of what Christians help do in the community and around the world beside eating a chicken sandwich to support a fellow Christian.
