Appreciates column
I don’t know if Rufus Ward’s columns are syndicated or not, but they ought to be. His Sunday column (“Removing flags and burning books”) is a real eye-opener that everyone should read, especially those elected public servants who cave to cries of racism and revisionism. Please consider submitting this column to every major newspaper in America and see how many have the courage to print it. I know “if it bleeds, it leads,” but it’s time for some common sense and truth, facts, to emerge from the rhetoric surrounding the hoopla over the “Confederate battle flag.” The idiocy and attempts to placate the “offended” has gone way too far. They, the “offended”, will never be satisfied, ever, as long as they get their way.
